The touch surface of the accelerator pedal, which requires a moderate degree of slippage, is made of resin with vertical slits, while the touch surface of the brake pedal, which requires grip, is made of rubber with horizontal slits.
The use of aluminum increases the pedal rigidity, enabling an excellent operating feel. In particular, the increased rigidity of the footrest section improves stability when pushing down.
