JDM Traditional Japanese Car Honda Fit

The Honda Fit was developed in 2001 as a successor to the compact car "Logo". It has gained popularity among both men and women for its spacious interior space and low fuel consumption, and as of 2022, it is in its fourth generation.

The origin of the name of the car, Fit, comes from the English word meaning "perfect", and it was named with the feeling of "fitting perfectly" in every scene of life.

The first Fit was introduced in 2001. Adopting a global small platform with excellent space efficiency, it featured innovative styling, a spacious interior, and a variety of seat arrangements. In particular, the adoption of the "center tank layout" is a major feature.
The exterior was a rational packaging that combines an ultra-short nose and a big cabin, called the "ZENSHIN cabin form".
In addition, it boasted high practicality with a compact body with a total length of 3830mm that cuts 4m and a total height of 1525mm considering a multi-story parking lot.
The powertrain was equipped with a newly developed "i-DSI" engine with improved combustion efficiency, boasting a low fuel consumption of 23km/l.

In 2007, the second-generation Fit was introduced. Compared to the first-generation Fit, the body size is larger, and the overall width is 1695mm, which is the maximum width of the 5-number size standard. Although it was compact, it realized a spacious interior space. The exterior design was refined with a one-motion form that flows from the front to the rear, while keeping the concept, making it a hit that surpassed the first generation.
In 2010, a minor change was added to the sports specification "RS". The RS was the first model in Japan to be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission in its class, and it was also a special model with a special orange color inspired by the original Civic, genuine leather steering wheel and special seats. RS stands for "Road Sailing".

In 2013, the third-generation Fit was introduced. The powertrain and performance have been revamped with the goal of capturing not only the Japanese but also the global market.
The overall length is up to 55mm and the wheelbase is 30mm longer than the second generation Fit.
In the powertrain, "EARTH DREAMS TECHNOLOGY" was introduced, the engine was changed from SOHC to DOHC, and an idling stop was added to the 1.3-liter model. The fuel consumption also achieved the catalog value of 26km/L. The 1.5-liter model uses a direct-injection engine with a 10% increase in output.
In addition, the maximum use of soundproofing and sound insulation materials in the cabin has greatly improved quietness. As a result, shocks and noises such as bumps were reduced as well as driving.

In the June 2017 minor change, Honda's safe driving support system "Honda SENSING" was adopted, and it became standard equipment on all grades except for the "13G/F" grade for gasoline vehicles.

In 2020, the fourth generation appeared. It has a simple and clean design that is reminiscent of the first and second generations, and the interior has been changed from the futuristic look of the previous generation to horizontal and straight lines.
In addition, the grade system has also been renewed, with the base grade "BASIC", the central grade "HOME", the sporty atmosphere "NESS", the upper grade "LUXE", and the SUV taste "CROSSTAR" for a lifestyle. Five grades are available to suit your needs.
Each grade has a 1.5L Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine + 2 motor hybrid car "e: HEV" and a 1.3L Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine gasoline car.

Keep an eye on the ever-evolving fit.
