Toyota C+pod is a modern, friendly and simple eco-friendly two-seater ultra-compact EV.

The C+pod is a compact EV developed for corporate use such as regular visits and environmentally transportation in urban areas and mountainous areas, in addition to short-distance travel in daily life.
The body size is ultra-compact 2,490mm(L) x 1,290mm(W) x 1,550mm(H). Since the minimum turning radius is 3.9m, it realizes excellent maneuverability with few turns in narrow corners and garage entry etc. scenes.
The power unit is equipped with a compact 1RM type motor at the rear and a lithium-ion battery under the floor to drive the rear wheels. It achieves a high-quality ride and a crisp and stable ride. The maximum speed is set to 60km/h.
The cruising range on a single charge achieved 150km in class 1 of the WLTC mode value. Charging uses the included charging cable (for both AC200V and AC100V), and it takes about 5 hours to charge 200V/16A and about 16 hours to charge 100V/6A.
The exterior is designed of simple, modern and friendly shapes. The cabin has been blacked out, and the characteristic LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps have been placed there to create an impressive EV design.

In addition, the standard body color is a two-tone color. The body and door are unpainted white resin. And the roof is unpainted black resin. A lineup of 2-tone and 3-tone special colors is available as an option.
As for the interior, it is a simple cabin where two adults can sit side by side. There is a storage space for passenger seat open trays, cup holders, etc., and a luggage room that can fully load luggage for daily shopping.

Also, the large opening door that an emphasis on getting on and off, the stepless entrance, and the seat are designed at a height that makes it easy to get on and off.
The seat skin is a gray fabric. And a comfortable heating sheet is added to the G grade.
The meters and switches are centrally located for ease of use, and the push-type shift switch expresses an advanced impression.

In terms of safety, it complies with the newly set safety standards for ultra-compact mobility based on the standards for Japanese K-Car.
As a preventive safety technology, it is equipped as standard Pre Crash Safety system with millimeter wave radar + monocular camera type, that can detect vehicles (day and night), pedestrians (day and night) and cyclists (daytime).
It has also set up an intelligent clearance sonar to avoid collisions with obstacles such as walls when driving at low speeds or to reduce damage. These will support safe driving in everyday life.
