In July 2025, Toyota implemented partial improvements to the Lexus LC and released it in August of the same year. At the same time, a special edition model, the “PINNACLE,” was introduced and sold via lottery in a limited run of 200 units.

The Lexus LC is based on the LF-LC concept car unveiled in 2012. The coupe debuted in 2017, followed by the convertible in 2020. The Lexus LC lineup includes the LC500 and LC500 Convertible, both equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, as well as the hybrid model LC500h, which features a 3.5-liter V6 engine.

In this latest update, based on the Lexus Driving Signature Always On philosophy, structural changes to the door striker were made to enhance body rigidity. These refinements achieve a high level of balance between excellent steering stability and responsive vehicle behavior that faithfully follows the driver’s steering inputs.

At the same time as the partial improvements, the limited-edition LC500 PINNACLE and LC500 Convertible PINNACLE were introduced, featuring exclusive tuning and additional equipment to further enhance driving performance. The name “PINNACLE” signifies the highest peak or summit in English.

The exteriors of the LC500 PINNACLE and LC500 Convertible PINNACLE are equipped with an integrated front bumper canard and a fixed rear wing, ensuring high aerodynamic and dynamic performance. In the LC500 PINNACLE, a highly rigid rear aluminum hollow suspension member is adopted, allowing more effective use of tire grip and delivering a unified driving experience between car and driver. Meanwhile, the LC500 Convertible PINNACLE features a fixed rear wing for the first time, improving ride comfort in open-top driving as well as straight-line and handling stability.

In addition, both models receive individual tuning. The engines are meticulously assembled with dimensional precision tailored to individual component variations, followed by final hand adjustments. This process pursues a smooth and freely revving character, enhanced responsiveness during acceleration and deceleration, and a refined, high-quality driving feel. The models are further equipped with exclusive forged aluminum wheels finished in black sputtering paint, with other exterior elements also unified in black.

For body colors, the LC500 PINNACLE features the exclusive silver-gray shade “Oborogin,” while the LC500 Convertible PINNACLE is offered in the exclusive color “Neutrino Gray.”

Inside, the LC500 PINNACLE features a special interior color scheme inspired by the scene of melting snow. “Black & White” is adopted for the coupe, while “Saddle Tan & White” is used for the convertible. In addition, the models are equipped with embroidered detailing on the passenger-side instrument panel, as well as exclusive plates and scuff plates.
