Two New Grades Introduced for Honda STEP WGN: "STEP WGN AIR EX" and "STEP WGN e:HEV SPADA PREMIUM LINE BLACK EDITION"

The sixth-generation STEP WGN, launched in May 2022, is a minivan that offers two distinct styles: "AIR" and "SPADA." It features a simple, clean design, Honda’s largest-ever cabin space, and excellent usability through versatile seat arrangements.

The "STEP WGN AIR EX" retains the simple, friendly design and open, comfortable interior space that characterize the AIR model, while enhancing comfort and convenience with features such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, second-row ottomans (available only with captain's seats), triple-zone fully automatic air conditioning, USB chargers at all seats, a power tailgate with memory function, and Blind Spot Information. The Blind Spot Information system, which alerts the driver to approaching vehicles from the rear diagonal direction, now comes as standard on all models.

Additionally, the minimum opening angle of the power tailgate has been reduced from approximately 52 degrees to about 22 degrees. As a result, the required rear clearance has been cut from around 910 mm to about 480 mm, making it easier to load and unload cargo even in tight parking spaces without hitting walls or guardrails. On models equipped with Honda CONNECT, remote operation of the power tailgate and power sliding doors is now available.

The "STEP WGN e:HEV SPADA PREMIUM LINE BLACK EDITION" is a new grade based on the top-tier e:HEV SPADA PREMIUM LINE, further elevating its refined quality. It features a dedicated "BLACK EDITION" emblem on the tailgate.

For the exterior, black chrome plating is used on the front grille garnish, front and rear lower garnishes, side sill garnish, and tailgate garnish. The 17-inch aluminum wheels, originally exclusive to the PREMIUM LINE with machined and clear-coated finish, are now fully painted in Berlina Black, with matching black wheel nuts to create a bold and commanding presence. The door mirror covers and outer door handles are finished in Crystal Black Pearl, and the lower steering garnish is finished in piano black, adding further sophistication to the design.

In terms of safety, both the "STEP WGN AIR EX" and "STEP WGN e:HEV SPADA PREMIUM LINE BLACK EDITION" are now equipped with enhanced Honda SENSING advanced driver-assistance features, including Rear Cross Traffic Monitor (available on models with Multi-View Camera System) and Sudden Acceleration Suppression.
