On October 31, LEXUS expanded the lineup of the "LBX" with the addition of the new "Elegant" grade.

The LEXUS LBX is a compact SUV equipped with a 1.5-liter hybrid system. Introduced in December 2023, the LBX was developed with the vision of redefining the concept of luxury cars—offering high-quality design and driving performance in a compact size that transcends traditional hierarchies. It is designed to provide a seamless connection between driver and vehicle, ensuring a comfortable and highly refined driving experience.

The LEXUS LBX "Elegant" joins the current lineup, which includes "Bespoke Build," "Cool," and "Relax." It is available in six monotone body color options, including "Astro Gray Mica Metallic," a shade that has been well-received in the "Bespoke Build" grade. The model also comes standard with 225/60R17 tires and 17-inch aluminum wheels with a medium gray metallic finish, a design that was previously exclusive to "Bespoke Build."

Inside, the LEXUS LBX "Elegant" offers two additional interior color options—"Mauve" and "Solis White." The seats are upholstered in "Ltex," a material designed for durability, functionality, and a refined tactile experience.

The powertrain of the LEXUS LBX "Elegant" remains the same as the existing model, featuring a 1.5-liter inline-3 gasoline engine (91PS, 120N·m) combined with a front electric motor (94PS, 185N·m) and a rear electric motor (6PS, 52N·m) for AWD models. The hybrid system is powered by a high-output bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery, enhancing motor assistance in response to accelerator inputs, delivering a quick and seamless "electric-rich acceleration feel" with minimal response delay.

In terms of safety, the LEXUS LBX "Elegant" is equipped with the latest "Lexus Safety System+." It also supports OTA (Over-The-Air) software updates, ensuring that the vehicle remains up-to-date with the latest enhancements. Additionally, the vehicle features a connected navigation system that utilizes cloud-based maps to provide real-time traffic and parking availability updates. Other connected services include internet browsing via DCM (Data Communication Module) and smartphone integration, allowing users to control vehicle functions through a dedicated app.
