Subaru has introduced the special edition LEGACY OUTBACK 30th Anniversary.

On October 24, Subaru announced the special edition model "30th Anniversary," based on the "LEGACY OUTBACK Limited EX." This special edition, OUTBACK 30th Anniversary, will be limited to 500 units and available through a nationwide lottery application at Subaru dealerships.

Since its debut in North America in 1994, the LEGACY OUTBACK has continued to refine its essential values as a vehicle for nearly 30 years. It offers a sense of security and comfort for endless journeys, efficient cargo capacity, and a high-quality interior. It stands as Subaru’s flagship crossover SUV.

As a culmination of 30 years, this special edition model incorporates Subaru’s continuously refined sporty driving performance while maintaining security and comfort for long drives, efficient cargo loading, and a high-quality interior, making it a true 30th-anniversary model.

The exterior of the LEGACY OUTBACK 30th Anniversary features a unified black finish on the front grille, roof rails, and door mirrors. The suspension system has STI-tuned Hitachi Astemo SFRD (Frequency Reactive Dampers) front dampers and STI-tuned rear dampers. This achieves a smooth, flat ride and excellent handling stability, offering a premium yet sporty driving experience. Additionally, 18-inch matte black aluminum wheels are also included.

The LEGACY OUTBACK 30th Anniversary interior is designed with a sporty yet refined aesthetic, featuring ivory and black Nappa leather seats. The driver’s and front passenger’s seats are embroidered with the exclusive 30th Anniversary logo to enhance the special edition feel. The instrument panel trim includes an ivory upper section wrapped in silver-stitched upholstery and a lower section wrapped in black upholstery. The audio system has an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, including six front speakers, four rear speakers, and a subwoofer.

The LEGACY OUTBACK 30th Anniversary is available in five body colors: Crystal White Pearl, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Cashmere Gold Opal, and Brilliant Bronze Metallic.
Unfortunately, orders for the Japan-spec LEGACY OUTBACK will end by the end of March 2025.
