Suzuki announced the launch of its new high-roof mini passenger car, the "SPACIA GEAR," on September 20th, with sales beginning the same day.

The first-generation SPACIA GEAR debuted in December 2018 as a new genre of super high-roof mini wagon, combining a spacious interior with an active style suited for outdoor leisure and adventure.

The new SPACIA GEAR has been developed with the concept of an "active high-roof mini wagon indispensable for outdoor life." It incorporates practical features introduced in the fully redesigned SPACIA and SPACIA CUSTOM models in November 2023, along with exclusive designs and equipment tailored to outdoor lifestyles.

Designed with the theme of "10-Mile Adventure," the new SPACIA GEAR aims to bring the thrill of the outdoors closer to everyday life, allowing users to enjoy the outdoor spirit more freely and fully. The exterior retains the popular image of the previous model while incorporating a modern gadget-like feel. It features round two-lamp headlights and a chrome block grille for a bold front-end appearance. Skid plates are added to the front and rear to enhance its SUV-like look.

The door garnish includes an orange "GEAR" logo, and the exclusive emblem features a gunmetal base with orange accents. The 14-inch aluminum wheels are finished in gunmetal with a unique screw-inspired design. Additionally, the roof rails, designed with a block-like three-dimensional shape, emphasize strength and utility for carrying loads.

The interior of the new SPACIA GEAR expresses a sense of utility akin to outdoor gear. Exclusive features include water-repellent seats and a dirt-resistant luggage floor. The seat upholstery is designed with patterns inspired by mountain ridgelines, gears, and tire treads. Big open tray garnishes and dashboard boxes are unified in "Khaki Green," giving a robust, toolbox-like impression. The meter panel incorporates a protective design with circular motifs and polygonal details, accented with orange highlights around the speedometer. A steering wheel heater, ideal for cold days, is also standard on all models.

In terms of safety, the new SPACIA GEAR is equipped with the standard "Dual Sensor Brake Support II," as well as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with full-speed range following and stop-and-hold functions, and lane-keeping assistance. These features ensure safe, comfortable driving, similar to those found in the SPACIA and SPACIA CUSTOM models.
