Honda has made a minor model change to the "CIVIC" and released it on September 13, following the announcement on September 12.
The current CIVIC, the 11th generation launched in 2021, was developed with Honda’s core philosophy of "human-centered" design. It aims to deliver a model that combines approachability with a unique presence, ensuring a "refreshing" experience for everyone who drives it.
This minor model change focuses on refining the front face for a more polished design. A new grade, "RS," has been introduced to the gasoline model lineup, emphasizing agility and driving pleasure.
The CIVIC retains its low center of gravity and sleek, coupe-like proportions characterized by horizontal simplicity and a flowing silhouette. However, the front bumper has been redesigned for a sharper, more aggressive look, enhancing the sporty silhouette from both the front and side views. The 18-inch aluminum wheels now feature a new shark gray metallic and matte cut finish. Additionally, the "e:HEV EX" grade now comes standard with an electric panoramic sunroof.
For the e:HEV models, a brighter and lighter gray interior has been introduced, evoking the quiet and smooth driving experience of the hybrid system. Furthermore, the previous single e:HEV model has been restructured into two grades: "e:HEV LX" and "e:HEV EX."
The e:HEV models are equipped with the Sports e:HEV system, combining a 2.0L direct-injection engine with a hybrid unit to deliver both sporty performance and excellent fuel efficiency. All gasoline models now feature a 1.5L direct-injection VTEC TURBO engine.
A new "RS" grade has been added to the gasoline model lineup. This sporty trim exclusively features a 6-speed manual transmission.
The RS model emphasizes its sporty appeal with black accents on the headlight rings, door mirror covers, shark fin antenna, exhaust pipe finishers, and wheel nuts. RS emblems adorn the front and rear of the vehicle, further enhancing its sporty image.
The RS is equipped with features like a "single-mass lightweight flywheel" for quicker engine response and a "rev-match system" that automatically adjusts engine speed during gear shifts, making the manual transmission even more enjoyable to operate. The RS also includes exclusive suspension with a 5mm lower ride height, customized steering tuning, larger brakes for improved control, and additional drive modes such as "SPORT" and "INDIVIDUAL." A unique welcome animation appears on the TFT digital meter for RS drivers.
Why not take a sporty drive with the CIVIC RS?
