Subaru FORESTER Special Edition Models Introduced
In April 2024, Subaru announced special edition models of the Forester: the "X-EDITION" and "XT-EDITION," featuring a new exclusive body color called "Geyser Blue." Additionally, Subaru unveiled the special edition "STI Sport Black Interior Selection" for the Forester.
The fifth-generation Forester, introduced in June 2018, was designed to provide a fun and comfortable space for all occupants. It combines maneuverability, interior spaciousness, and practical features while maintaining a robust SUV-like design in a compact package.
The new "Geyser Blue" color introduced for the Forester special edition models "X-EDITION" and "XT-EDITION" is borrowed from the North American "Wilderness" model, enhancing the active and tough image of these vehicles, suitable for both daily urban use and outdoor adventures.
The Forester special edition "X-EDITION" is based on the "Touring" grade with a 2.0L direct-injection engine combined with a motor (e-BOXER model). It includes outdoor-friendly features such as water-repellent fabric, synthetic leather seats, water-repellent cargo floorboards, and various resin parts throughout the vehicle. Additionally, it comes with numerous black-themed interior and exterior elements and standard features such as driver's seat position memory with access key, and heated rear seats.
The Forester special edition "XT-EDITION" is based on the "SPORT" grade with a 1.8L direct-injection turbo engine. Similar to the "X-EDITION," it includes many outdoor-friendly features while offering a sporty driving experience with the turbo engine and maintaining the usability of a genuine SUV.
The Forester special edition "STI Sport Black Interior Selection" enhances the "STI Sport" grade with Nappa leather seats and an all-black interior theme, emphasizing both luxury and sportiness. The "Offshore Blue Metallic" color is introduced for the first time as an exclusive color for the "STI Sport Black Interior Selection." Other special features include silver-stitched upper trim and black skin-wrapped instrument panel garnish panel & floor console lid, along with piano black pillar covers. Safety-wise, it's equipped with EyeSight Safety Plus, front view monitor, and smart rearview mirror.
Each of these special edition models offers unique attractions, making the choice a difficult one.
