Toyota COROLLA, COROLLA TOURING, COROLLA SPORTS Partially Upgraded

On April 2nd, Toyota announced partial upgrades for three models in the COROLLA series: COROLLA, COROLLA TOURING, and COROLLA SPORTS. Additionally, Toyota introduced the special edition model ACTIVE SPORT with a sporty exclusive interior and exterior design for the COROLLA and COROLLA TOURING.

In the partial upgrades for the three COROLLA models, the hatchback-style COROLLA SPORTS now comes standard with a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Parking Support Brake (Front and Rear Static Objects + Rear Approaching Vehicles), along with the addition of a NanoE X air purifier as standard equipment for the G "Z" grade. Furthermore, the G "Z" grade now offers the same digital key function as the new Prius as a manufacturer option. Both the sedan-type COROLLA and the station wagon COROLLA TOURING have a Parking Support Brake (Front and Rear Static Objects + Rear Approaching Vehicles) as standard equipment for the X grade.

Additionally, the W×B grade and the special edition ACTIVE SPORT feature seat heaters, steering heaters, and NanoE X as standard equipment. The digital key is available as a manufacturer option for the special edition ACTIVE SPORT and the W×B grade.

The special edition ACTIVE SPORT of the COROLLA and COROLLA TOURING features a unique design front bumper, Cement Gray Metallic special option color, 215/45R17 tires, and 7.5J×17 inch aluminum wheels with cut shine and piano black paint. It also includes ACTIVE SPORT logo-marked rocker moldings, and an active SPORTS-specific tuned suspension for 2WD. This tuned suspension features new shock absorbers with a new structure, dedicated springs, and stabilizers. The electric power steering is also optimized with dedicated software to achieve both high driving stability and superior ride comfort.

Inside the ACTIVE SPORT, there are synthetic leather + Branno B front SPORTS seats and synthetic leather-wrapped instrument panel with ACTIVE SPORT logo mark. The optimized shape of the shoulder protrusions on the front SPORTS seats provides strong lateral G support during sharp cornering. The interior accent stitching is unified in gray and features such as static electricity stabilizing plus seats, ACTIVE SPORT aluminum pedals, 10.5-inch display audio, Blind Spot Monitor + Safe Exit Assist, and Parking Support Brake (Rear Approaching Vehicles) are standard equipment. Additionally, seat heaters + steering heaters and NanoE X are standard equipment, while the digital key, featuring the same function as the new Prius, is available as a manufacturer option.
