On December 11th, Nissan announced a minor update to the "NOTE," set to be released in late January 2024. This update includes a fresh front-end design and improvements in functionality and usability.
The NOTE is a compact car that has gained popularity thanks to its smooth and powerful acceleration, comfortable ride, and excellent noise insulation, all achieved through the second-generation "e-POWER" technology.
One of the major exterior changes in this update is the revamped front-end design. The front grille now features a new-age digital V-motion design, incorporating the headlights into a V-shaped grille. Additionally, both the front and rear bumpers match the body color, creating a unified and more modern design that exudes freshness and sophistication. The unique aspect of the front grille design is that it uses color-matched grilles for vivid body colors and dark metal gray grilles for non-vivid body colors, enriching the overall front face of the vehicle. Furthermore, the lower part of the rear bumper features an asymmetrical pattern, adding to its integration with the Japanese landscape.
In addition, the 16-inch wheel covers boast a new design, incorporating traditional Japanese geometric patterns to create a three-dimensional and contemporary design. For body colors, there are 14 options, including two unique two-tone colors: "Sumire," which takes on a reddish hue in sunlight and a bluish shade in the shade, and "Turquoise," which exudes freshness.
Furthermore, all grades now come with LED headlights as standard to improve visibility during nighttime driving.
Inside the NOTE, the instrument panel features a design inspired by mizuhiki (a traditional Japanese cord made from twisted paper), and the seat fabric includes random stripes, creating an ambiance that harmonizes with the exterior.
Additionally, the glove box on the passenger side has been expanded in capacity and now includes upper and lower compartments for improved storage of items such as manuals and tissue boxes.
The Intelligent Key system offers enhanced convenience with functions like the "Approach Unlock" feature, which automatically unlocks the car as you approach, and the "Departure Auto Lock" feature, which automatically locks the car when you walk away from it.
The lineup consists of two variants: X (2WD) and X FOUR (4WD).
