Subaru has announced the FORESTER "X-Edition" as a model that encourages outdoor exploration.

The current-generation FORESTER, introduced in June 2018 as the fifth generation, has been designed to provide a pleasant and comfortable environment for all passengers, with a focus on practicality, spacious interiors, and user-friendly features. It combines ease of handling with ample room, offering a design that exudes the ruggedness typical of an SUV.

The FORESTER "X-EDITION" comes equipped with popular features from the "Touring" trim level, including a driver's seat position memory function compatible with access keys and rear-seat heating for both left and right seats. Additionally, it features water-repellent fabric/synthetic leather seats and a water-repellent cargo floorboard, making it a model that is convenient for everyday use as well as outdoor adventures.

In terms of its exterior, the "X-EDITION" boasts a distinctive black-themed appearance, with features such as dark metallic 18-inch alloy wheels, unpainted black front grille wings/rear garnish, and black-painted roof rails.

Other exterior features include a dark chrome front emblem, LED high and low beam lamps with black bezels, circular LED front fog lamps, front fog lamp covers with added decoration, and unpainted black rear garnish, along with reverse-linked door mirrors with memory and auto-folding functionality.

Inside the "X-EDITION," the driver and front passenger benefit from 8-way power seats, and the driver's seat also includes position memory function compatible with access keys. Additionally, black water-repellent fabric/synthetic leather seats are featured. The interior includes a steering heater, rear-seat heating for both left and right seats, and decorative panels with black painting in the dashboard and front and rear ventilation grills.

Other interior features include LED cargo room lamps, LED tailgate lamps, and a water-repellent cargo floorboard with luggage smoother functionality.

For safety features, the "X-EDITION" is equipped with Subaru's EyeSight system, which includes EyeSight Safety Plus (with expanded visibility) featuring a front view monitor and smart rearview mirror, as well as EyeSight Safety Plus (driving assistance) with Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection (rear side alert support system), Emergency Lane Keep Assist, and Array Adaptive Driving Beam.
