Nissan CARAVAN MYROOM Launch Edition Unveiled

In October, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the "CARAVAN MYROOM," a car designed for camping based on the CARAVAN model. Prior to the release of the CARAVAN MYROOM in the summer of 2024, Nissan has started accepting orders for the special edition "CARAVAN MYROOM Launch Edition."

The CARAVAN MYROOM is a unique vehicle developed to bring your favorite room into nature and provide a relaxing car experience, based on the CARAVAN GRAND Premium GX, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2023, marking a new category of vehicles.

The exterior of the CARAVAN MYROOM features exclusive parts such as a black grille, black door handles, black door mirrors, and black steel wheels to enhance its appearance. Optional MYROOM-specific stickers are available for the rear quarter window and back door. Body color options include the exclusive Sand Beige/White 2-tone, Pure White Pearl, Stealth Gray, and Midnight Black.

Inside the CARAVAN MYROOM, the interior is designed with three key concepts: Natural, Cozy, and Clean. It incorporates abundant use of bright woodgrain-style veneers. To enhance the room-like ambiance, the design minimizes curves and relies on straight lines. Furthermore, it introduces the industry-first "2 in 1 Seat," combining cushions with varying levels of firmness. This seat can be easily arranged to optimize comfort during travel, providing a pleasant ride, and it can also be flipped to the rear seat side during parking to offer a soft, sofa-like seating experience.

For those interested in camping, the CARAVAN MYROOM offers two bed options: a foldable bed and an optional "MyRoom Lift-Up Bed," both upholstered in herringbone fabric. The former is divided into two sections, allowing for flexible arrangements, while the latter smoothly unfolds with a single action. Additionally, the slide table can be fixed or removed as needed.

The CARAVAN MYROOM Launch Edition comes with standard features such as interior curtains, wood blinds, AC 100V power outlets, woodgrain roof panels with spot lighting, roller screens, and roof-side indirect lighting. It also includes original cushions matching the curtains. Orders for the exclusive body color "Sand Beige/White 2-tone" for the CARAVAN MYROOM Launch Edition will be accepted until the end of December 2023, while other body colors will be available until the end of January 2024.

In terms of powertrain options, the CARAVAN MYROOM Launch Edition offers a 2.0-liter inline-4 gasoline engine and a 2.5-liter inline-4 diesel engine.
