The current "Forester" is the fifth generation of the model, which was introduced in June 2018. It is an SUV with packaging that combines easy handling with a spacious interior and user-friendly equipment so that all passengers can share a pleasant and comfortable space. It is also Subaru's global strategic vehicle that expresses the toughness typical of SUVs.
The lineup of the new Forester, which has become the F-model as a result of this partial improvement, is,
The new Forester lineup includes the "Touring," "X-BREAK," and "Advance" models powered by a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC 2.0-liter direct injection engine with motor (e-BOXER), the "SPORT," "XT-EDITION," and "STI Sport.
The exterior of the partially redesigned Forester now features the black-painted shark fin antenna and roof spoiler, which are standard equipment on all grades of the top-of-the-line "STI Sport" grade. These features enhance the quality of the vehicle and emphasize the toughness of the SUV.
In addition, each grade has different specifications for the front grille window, front bumper guard paint, and front fog lamp covers.
In the Forester's interior, the X-BREAK grade comes with 8-way power driver and passenger seats as standard equipment, and each grade has specifications tailored to the user's needs.
The seats are made of black water-repellent fabric and synthetic leather for the ADVANCE and XT-EDITION grades, and ultra-suede for the SPORT grade.
The ADVANCE also offers optional genuine Nappa leather seats.
The X-BREAK and ADVANCE grades also feature a new power rear liftgate as standard equipment.
The e-BOXER (2.0-liter direct injection engine and motor) for smooth and nimble driving pleasure and the 1.8-liter direct injection turbo DIT for powerful acceleration and pleasant driving remain unchanged.
In addition, all grades always adopt all-wheel drive (AWD), and the Lineartronic transmission (with manual mode) remains unchanged.
As for Forester's safety features, EyeSight is standard equipment, and the new Backing Brake Assist setting has been revised to further enhance safety performance by speeding up the warning timing when an obstacle is detected while backing up. When reversing, the system alerts the driver in stages when a collision is likely to occur, and if no evasive maneuver is taken, the system applies brake control to help avoid a collision.
Why don't you go for a drive in a safer and higher-quality Forester?
