Lexus RX350h is now available!

In July 2023, Lexus has upgraded its RX luxury crossover SUV with the addition of the RX350h equipped with a 2.5-liter hybrid system.

The Lexus RX was launched in North America in 1998 as a pioneer of luxury crossover SUVs. 2005 saw the launch of the RX400h, the first hybrid model in the luxury SUV market. In 2022, a PHEV version, the RX450h+, will be available, offering class-leading EV cruising range and strong acceleration performance.

With the introduction of the RX350h, the Lexus RX lineup now includes the RX450+ PHEV model, the RX500h and RX350h HEV models, and the RX350 gasoline model.

The RX350h, now on sale, features a hybrid system that combines a highly efficient 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor to deliver maximum output of 190 PS and maximum torque of 243 Nm. The high response of the combined motor, the drive battery with improved performance, and the control of the hybrid system with revised driving force characteristics achieve a high dimension of pleasant driving pleasure and low fuel consumption.
The RX350h is also available in 2WD and 4WD while other models are only available in 4WD. The 4WD system, E-Four (electric AWD system), provides stable driving performance by driving the rear wheels with the motor when starting off or on slippery surfaces such as snowy roads. The 4WD system also precisely controls the front-rear driving force distribution between 100:0 and 20:80 to provide acceleration performance at startup and excellent cornering stability as intended by the driver.

Like the previous RX, the RX350h's exterior features a stylish design that is instantly recognizable as a Lexus RX, with full three-lens LED headlamps and a spindle body. In addition, 21-inch aluminum wheels are available in either dark premium metallic or dark gray metallic paint.


The RX350h's interior features the Tazuna Concept, inspired by the reins that people use to steer horses. The steering wheel switches are linked to the head-up display, creating a space where the driver can control the navigation system, audio system, and various functions while concentrating on driving.
Semi-aniline genuine leather seats are adopted for the seats, which come with driver and front passenger position memory and driver and front passenger ventilation functions.

In terms of safety features, the Lexus Safety System + is equipped with proactive driving assist that provides appropriate operation support according to the situation, and optimal control according to the driver's driving situation by linking with a driver monitor. The RX is equipped with preventive safety technologies based on a human-centered approach.
