Partially improved Mazda MAZDA3

Mazda has upgraded the MAZDA3 compact car, which is scheduled to go on sale in early June.

The MAZDA 3 goes on sale in May 2019 as the successor to the model that has been sold under the Axela name in Japan since 2003. It follows the Axela lineup, but the "sports hatchback" model has been renamed "fastback".

The MAZDA3's improvements include enhanced safety, convenience, and comfort, and a new body color, Ceramic Metallic, has been added to the exterior.
On the interior, the color of the steering wheel switches has been changed from Platinum Satin to Black, front cup holder specifications have been changed.

The MAZDA3's safety enhancements are based on Mazda's "MAZDA PROACTIVE SAFETY" safety philosophy.
The automatic automatic transmission (AT) false start suppression control [when driving forward/reverse] now detects pedestrians (in front) in addition to conventional obstacles such as cars and walls.
In addition, the driver monitoring system has a new "eyes-watching alert" function that alerts the driver with an on-screen display and audible warning if the system detects the driver's eyes glancing away from the road.

Other improvements to the MAZDA3's convenience and comfort include a new 10.25-inch center display, which is larger than the previous 8.8-inch display, as well as "wireless charging (Qi), wireless connectivity (Apple CarPlay compatible), and a new illuminated USB-Type C terminal. The addition of these features reduces the need to connect to mobile devices and to operate the connection when getting in and out of the car.
In addition to the existing "Comfort Plan", two new fee-based plans, "Watch Over" and "Remote Engine Start", have been added to the Connected Service.

Mazda My Car Care, the watch-over plan of the Connected Service with expanded functions for MAZDA3, dispatches a guard from a security company to check and monitor the condition of the vehicle in the event of tampering with or theft from the vehicle.
With Mazda My Car Care, drivers can optionally set the vehicle speed, driving time, and driving area in the My Mazda app, and the My Mazda app will alert the driver when the set conditions are met.
Remote Engine Start, also using the "MyMazda" app, allows the driver to turn the engine on and off even when away from the car, and works with the MAZDA3 air conditioning system to ensure visibility and a comfortable cabin temperature at the start of driving.

Why don't you go for a drive in the shiny and beautiful MAZDA3?
