Full model change of Toyota Prius!

Toyota fully remodeled the Prius in January 2023.

The Prius was born in 1997 as the world's first mass-produced hybrid passenger car. This time, it debuted as the fifth-generation "new Prius" under the concept of "Hybrid Reborn" to symbolize a new hybrid.

The exterior of the new Prius has an emotional design that has an appealing character that makes you fall in love with it at first sight, and a universal beauty that will never fade away and will be loved for a long time. The exterior of the new Prius inherits a mono-form, spindle-shaped design that is instantly recognizable as a Prius, while the low and wide styling and large-diameter 19-inch wheels give it stylish proportions.
The front design has a hammerhead motif, a significant change from the previous model, and the single-stroke rear combination lamps express a forward-looking image.

The interior of the new Prius is based on the concept of "island architecture," with the meter panel and center monitor located on a simple, horizontal dashboard, and an instrument panel that not only decorates the interior with ambient lighting, but also features the Toyota Safety Sense The instrument panel not only decorates the interior as ambient lights, but also features Toyota's first "Illumination Notification System," which works in conjunction with the Toyota Safety Sense package to alert the driver when danger is imminent by flashing illuminations.
The large "panoramic moonroof" and the new-generation "solar charging system" (PHEV only) are also among the vehicle's distinctive features.

The new Prius HEV hybrid unit is available in 1.8-liter and 2-liter versions, each with a maximum system output of 140 PS and 193 PS, respectively. The 2-liter version, in particular, generates 1.6 times more power than the 1.8-liter version of its predecessor, providing dynamic performance befitting the sporty new Prius. A 4WD model (E-Four) with an independent motor in the rear is also available.
The PHEV is equipped with a 2-liter plug-in hybrid system that combines a highly efficient Dynamic Force engine with a high-output drive lithium-ion battery to achieve a maximum system output of 223 PS while maintaining the same low fuel consumption as the previous generation.

In terms of safety features, the new Prius comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sence preventive safety package for all models, which combines high recognition performance and reliability with two types of sensors, a monocular camera and millimeter-wave radar.
In addition, Toyota's first "support for approaching vehicles (recording function and notification suggestion function)" suggests connecting to the police or Help Net with a display and voice when a vehicle behind is very close.
It tells you how to deal with the situation and also has a function to automatically record the situation on the drive recorder.
In addition, Advanced Park, one of the Toyota Teammate's features, assists the driver in parking maneuvers at the touch of a switch, and in parallel parking, in addition to conventional back parking, it now allows forward parking, back exit, and forward parking. The system assists with all steering, acceleration, braking, and shifting maneuvers, so even those who are not comfortable with parking can park with ease.

The new Prius has become more attractive. I can't wait to test drive it.
