Nissan announced the 2024 GT-R model on January 13, 2023.

Nissan announced the 2024 GT-R model on January 13, 2023. At the same time, the special edition NISSAN GT-R Premium edition T-spec and NISSAN GT-R NISMO Special edition were announced at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023.

The NISSAN GT-R was developed as the successor to the Skyline GT-R, which has long been considered the symbol of Nissan sports models. The first generation of models to adopt the GT-R name (1969-1973) and the second generation (1989-2002) followed, and it is now in its third generation.

The NISSAN GT-R design features the "Premium Midship Package," the world's first independent transaxle with the engine located at the front of the vehicle and the clutch, transmission, and transfer at the rear of the vehicle.

The engine of NISSAN GT-R uses a "VR38DETT" V6 3.8L twin-turbo engine with 570hp for the 2017 model and 600hp for the flugship model GT-R NISMO.

The exterior of the NISSAN GT-R features a revised front grille, front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, and diffuser to improve aerodynamics. And with the improved aerodynamics, the tuning of the suspension, including the electronically controlled shock absorbers, has been revised. In addition, a newly designed exhaust system has been adopted to comply with the latest Japanese regulations, which reduces exhaust noise during normal driving while creating an uplifting sound when the vehicle speed is increased.

The NISSAN GT-R NISMO takes full advantage of racing technology to refine aerodynamic performance, tune the suspension, and add a front mechanical LSD. As a result, cornering performance has also been improved, so it became in the highest performance model in the GT-R's history.

The "NISMO-specific RECARO carbon-back bucket seats", which support the driving experience, have also been redesigned to improve comfort and a sense of oneness with the vehicle.

The NISSAN GT-R NISMO Special edition, on the other hand, uses high-precision weight-balanced engine parts such as piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshaft, and is specially equipped with a NISMO-specific carbon engine hood (with NACA ducts) that is clear coated.

Why not go for a drive in a GT-R that will make you feel like you want to keep driving forever?
