Toyota SUV "YARiS CROSS" partially improved & new grade added

Toyota's compact SUV "YARiS CROSS" will be partially improved on July 19, 2022 and will be released on August 8, 2022. Toyota's sporty models "GR SPORT" and "Z Adventure" grades will also be newly added.

YARiS CROSS, which appeared in August 2020, is a derivative model of the compact car "YARiS". Like the Yaris, it adopts the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform "GA-B" for compact cars, and is a compact SUV that inherits the YARiS' characteristics of "light driving," "advanced safety and security technology," and "low fuel consumption". In Toyota's SUV lineup, the body size is located between Raize and C-HR, and the exterior features a powerful exterior design with a strong presence.

In the partial improvement of the YARiS CROSS this time, an automatic anti-glare inner mirror with a drive recorder has been set as an option on all models, and black has been newly set as the interior color of the Z grade.

The interior of the YARiS CROSS is designed to emphasize strength. A soft pad is used on the upper part of the instrument panel, and a new warm felt material is used extensively in the door trim, creating a high-quality and comfortable interior space.

The YARiS CROSS has two types of powertrains: a 1.5-liter in-line 3-cylinder DOHC engine + CVT and a 1.5-liter gasoline hybrid system that generates a total system output of 116ps. The drive system is 2WD and 4WD for both gasoline and hybrid vehicles.

YARiS CROSS's driving support system is equipped with the latest active safety package "Toyota Safety Sense" as standard equipment (excluding the X "B package").
In addition, it is equipped with Toyota's latest technology radar cruise control with all-vehicle tracking function, adaptive high beam system, and advanced driver assistance "Toyota Teammate".

The YARiS CROSS GR SPORT uses exclusive parts that pursue driving performance: special rigidity parts, suspension, electric power steering control, powertrain control & drive shaft (hybrid vehicles only), radiator grille & rear bumper lower cover, Aluminum wheels, sporty seats and seat covers.

The Z Adventure features exclusive front and rear bumpers, silver roof rails, exclusive seats with synthetic leather saddle tongue and black tweed-like fabric for aggressive styling.
