Suzuki has changed some specifications of "Ignis" and added a new grade MV with a stronger SUV taste.
Ignis is Suzuki's crossover SUV type compact car. The current model announced in 2016 will be the first generation.
Ignis is a package that combines a compact car and an SUV with the concept of "easy-to-use and stylish compact crossover". It is an SUV that features a compact body size that is easy to drive and a high eye point.
With this specification change, a new grade hybrid MV has been added, and there are 3 grades including the entry grade hybrid MG and the upper grade hybrid MF.
The new grade hybrid MV is equipped with LED headlamps, LED front fog lamps, and characteristic LED position lamps, in addition to bumpers that express the same strength as the hybrid MF. It is also equipped with a rear fog lamp that notifies the rear vehicle of the presence of the vehicle when visibility is poor, and a shift paddle. It is a new grade that pursues a powerful exterior and fun to operate.
In addition, the same bumper as the hybrid MF has been added to the entry grade hybrid MG.

In the interior, the hybrid MF is equipped with a new luggage shelf (tonneau cover) as standard equipment, while retaining the leather-like seats and antifouling type luggage floor. Khaki and gun metallic are available as interior colors. The Hybrid MV and Hybrid MG have a stylish interior with casual fabric seats. The interior colors are Gun Metallic for Hybrid MV and Black for Hybrid MG. In addition, comfort equipment such as a keyless push start system and a fully automatic air conditioner has been added to the hybrid MG.
A speedometer that constantly emits light and a multi-information display in the instrument panel are standard equipment on all models.
The power train is a mild hybrid with a 1.2L engine only, and the transmission is a CVT. Each grade has 2WD and 4WD settings.
4WD normally uses a viscous-coupling 4WD system that automatically distributes the optimum driving force to the front and rear wheels when driving on slippery snowy roads, and distributes the driving force to the front wheels. It not only demonstrates its performance, but also contributes to fuel-efficient driving.
