It continues to evolve. On the other hand, the PRIUS PHV is a full-scale plug-in hybrid vehicle based on the 4th generation PRIUS. In addition to adopting a thin multi-lens headlight that can be said to be a feature of the exterior, the latest technology such as a double bubble-shaped roof that contributes to aerodynamic performance and a composite material back door aimed at weight reduction has been introduced.

In the interior, the center cluster, instrument panel ornament, side register bezel, etc. are decorated with dark tones. In addition, the accelerator and brake pedals are specially equipped with aluminum pedals, giving a sporty impression. In addition to the special color "Precious Black Pearl", a total of 6 body colors are available, including 2 two-tone colors.
Both "S: Touring Selection Black Edition" and "A: Touring Selection Black Edition" have 2WD and 4WD settings.
PRIUS's safety equipment includes "pre-crash safety (millimeter wave radar + monocular camera system)" that also detects pedestrians in the daytime, "lane departure alert" that assists steering operation when the vehicle is about to deviate from the lane, and so on. All vehicles are equipped as standard with the collision avoidance support package "Toyota Safety Sense," which includes "radar cruise control" that supports follow-up driving according to all vehicle speeds and "automatic high beam" that supports visibility at night.
