The nice thing about plug-in hybrid vehicles is that it can be charged the battery from a household outlet. The charging time has also been shortened compared to when the Outlander PHEV was started to sale, and the hassle has been greatly eliminated.

(If you have a 200V power supply, you only need to install a specifically outlet, and the cost is low.)

- Normal charge: About 4.5 hours (fully charged)
- Fast charge: About 25 minutes (80% charge)

The interior has changed gauge cluster and gear selectors.

In function and equipment. The Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist "BSW/LCA" and Rear Cross Traffic Alert "RCTA" which were previously standard functions only on the "G Premium Package" and "S Edition" are standard on all grades.

Also, due to the change in the law regarding (in Japan) the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS), the OFF switch of the device has been removed and the volume and sound quality of the notification sound have been optimized.

Since the Outlander PHEV installs a large battery pack, it does not have a three-row seat arrangement like the gasoline model, only two-rows seat. However, the interior space is very spacious for a 5-seater car, and the packaging is sufficiently satisfactory even when used like a large passenger car.

The luggage room of the Outlander PHEV, which is a middle-sized SUV is spacious enough. So, on weekends, why not go to your favorite campsite a lot of tents and outdoor goods?
