The concept of exterior design is stylish premium. Since this is the second big minor change, it have been made big update around the front and rear. The purpose is to move up the level of vehicle class. Especially, the hood has been lifted 70mm to give it thickness and strength. And at the front, hood, fenders, headlights, bumpers and grille have been changed accordingly.

All the lights are LED type based on the modern and vehicle class. A thin turn signal light is placed on the upper side. And it is a sequential type. Below that, a thin headlight is employed.

With the same idea for the rear, while expressing the thickness and strength, it expresses sophisticated details. The big update is that the combination lamps that are connected side by side have changed to separate types. Furthermore, by making it a horizontal tone, it expresses the moist feeling of an adult.

The rear combination lamps are also full LED like the front. A stop lamp is used on the upper side, a sequential lamp that flows from the inside to the outside under the Chrome plating, and a back lamp on the inside.

In the new Odyssey, the shape of the instrument panel has also changed significantly. The shape of the side is simply horizontal to make the large 10-inch center monitor stand out.

The shape of the meter has also been changed, and the new model has moved to the center to make it larger than the conventional type, which had the liquid crystal display separated to the left and right. The meter itself is an orthodox combination type with a familiar impression.

In addition, FABTECT (water- and oil-repellent sheet), passenger seat storage, and a new driver's seat cup holder have been enhanced with simple but practical equipment and functions.

The rear seat slide door is equipped as standard with a "gesture control power slide door" that can be opened and closed by gesture operation.

This function allows you to open and close the door by bringing your hand close to the blue LED on the sensor on the underside of the window glass of the sliding door and sliding your hand along the flow of light. It is a convenient function that you can stop by touching it during opening and closing.

There is also a lineup of models equipped with a "hands-free access power tailgate" that allows you to open and close the tailgate by accessing the rear bumper sensor with your feet.

In addition, the parts and functions that have been well-received from the conventional model, such as ease of driving, ease of taking a driving position, comfort of front and rear seats, comfort of driving, and high quality of Honda Sensing, remain unchanged. The ODYSSEY has matured further.
