Toyota AQUA Partially Upgraded, Special Edition Z "Raffine" Debuts

In April 2024, Toyota Motor Corporation implemented partial upgrades to the compact car "AQUA" and introduced the special edition Z "Raffine."

The Toyota AQUA is a compact model equipped with a hybrid system combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a motor.

The focus of this partial upgrade for the AQUA is on strengthening equipment. The "Z" grade now includes as standard features the "Blind Spot Monitor with Stop Alert Function," "Parking Support Brake (Front Static Objects/Rear Approaching Vehicles)," and "Panoramic View Monitor (with See-Through View & Moving View)." The "X" grade now comes standard with a Parking Support Brake (Front and Rear Static Objects). Additionally, the "Z", "G", and "GR Sport" grades now include as standard equipment an "Automatic Anti-Glare Inner Mirror (with Drive Recorder)". Furthermore, Parking Support Brake (Surrounding Static Objects) is now available as a manufacturer option for all models.

The AQUA Special Edition "Z Raffine," which emphasizes luxury, is scheduled for release in early August 2024. In terms of both interior and exterior, the AQUA Special Edition "Z Raffine" features bronze accents. The exterior boasts a two-tone roof and a grille with bronze metallic paint. Other features include LED side turn signal lamps with auto-folding colored door mirrors (heated, with roof color matching), colored outside door handles (matching roof color), and a rear roof spoiler (matching roof color).

Inside the AQUA Special Edition "Z Raffine", there are bronze metallic accents on the passenger upper box, instrument panel, and front console. Body color options include "Dark Gray × Clear Beige Metallic", "Dark Gray × Urban Khaki", and a special option "Black Mica × Dark Gray".

For front-wheel-drive cars, 195/55R16 tires with bronze-painted 6J aluminum wheels with center ornaments are used, while for 4WD cars, 185/65R15 tires with bronze-painted 6J aluminum wheels with center ornaments are employed.
